A plushy, salty, zero-zero & salivary-inducing Loire GEM. Laurent creates wines that are expressive, playful & driven by a tireless work ethic. In recent vintages his cuvées have been created out of determination in the face of climate instability and destruction by frost, hail or rain, leading him to rely on purchasing grapes from trusted growers. The seven year-old, uncompromising and romantic romorantin (sourced from Château de Montcrochet in Fougères sur Bièvre) used for ‘One Shot’ was direct-pressed and aged in amphora for 20 months to take this undeniably delectable final form. Strawberry-kiwi-oreo blended frozen yoghurt from yogen früz circa 2010, pebbly minerality, white Haribo gummy bear, saltyyyyy frangipane, white flowers & a serpentining cave system.
