It is such a true pleasure to share this light and textured wine from young, Georgian, superstar Baia Abuladze. While some of us associate Georgia with full-bodied and incredibly concentrated orange wines, the country makes so much more. In Eastern, cooler climate Imereti, crisp white wines with acidity and freshness are the name of the game. This Tsitska-Tsolikouri is a squirt of citrus on dried nectarines and roasted August peach. A short soak on skins in clay amphoric qvevri adds texture and smokey spice. Perfect for crispy white wine lovers & wine geeks alike!
