Following in the footsteps of his vine-guarding grandfather, Yann Durieux is a natural Burgundian frontrunner in zero-zero winemaking and responsible land management. Since 2010, he has grown his holdings to 15 hectares across the Cote de Nuits and Hautes Cotes, all of which are tended biodynamically. ‘Love and Pif’, his most well-known and universally beloved bottlings, is made from 45-year-old vines in the Hautes Cotes de Nuits, with a brief time on the skins for texture. Buddha’s hand rind, dewy grass sorbet, nettle, gooseberry, honey on a tender english muffin, bedrock minerality & salted hazelnuts.
