The goal of ‘El Soci’ is referred to by the winemaker as, “great lightness” or "expression without heaviness”, we can taste the wise guidance it takes to help a wine get here. Young visionary Ferran Lacruz has been organically farming his eight hectares of land in the small village of Sant Marti Sarroca since 2018. Grown across three different vineyard sites, boasting calcareous and limestone dense soils that punch an oceanic shaped hole straight through the ceiling of this white. FUN FACT! Some of the vines are so old Ferran says they are, “so old we honestly don’t know the age”! Light rain through a dirty windowpane, sour strawberry, a lemon flattened by a fisherman’s salty boot & steel anchor minerality. Enjoy with a pal and a pail of peas to shuck.
